 An innovative journey of colour pairing through locally sourced cuisine & the wines of Echo Bay & Else

We are excited to share with you a collaborative dinner at Echo Bay hosted by Elise Trébouchon, sommelière and Chef Pierre of Origine Catering. 

The second in a series of events highlighting colour pairing between local foods and wines, the meal's focus is fittingly PURPLE. An exclusive culinary experience that highlights the many shades of purple found both on your plate and in your glass. Pierre and Elise have been out foraging, fermenting and curing in preparation for this gastronomical delight and we are excited to share this opportunity with you.

A little bit about your hosts...

Both hailing from the South of France, Elise and Pierre met in the Okanagan and quickly discovered their shared interest and passion for food and wine, molecular gastronomy and decided to dig together in the fun of color pairings!

This spring has marked the beginning of Chef Pierre's new adventure : 'Origine Catering' and he is over-joyed to partner-up with his friend Elise, as this duo loves indulging in good food, good wine, and of course, sharing it with good people. A partnership created with the foundation of genuine hospitality spirit, these two want to push the culinary envelope in new and innovative ways, while highlighting the richness of the Okanagan with a French touch. 

As for us at Echo Bay, we are delighted to be able to partner with such an imaginative and talented team to showcase our wines alongside some elevated Okanagan cuisine.  As this date hits right in the middle of our busy season, we will be relishing this celebration of harvest right alongside you.

Further details:  We will be hosting this intimate harvest dinner at the the ‘big’ house down by the lake. Seating will be indoors by the fireplace for the dinner but depending on weather, we may also be enjoying an amuse-bouche lakeside. Please dress appropriately for the season. 

*As per the Public Health Order, participants will be required to show proof of vaccination (minimum one dose).
